I am a Meteorologist and I am amazed at how so many of my colleagues do not believe the earth is warming and that global warming is a myth. The NY Times did a piece on this recently. It seems they, as a group, do not like non-meteorologist having a say in weather. Also, it gets political because of the hatred of Al Gore by Republicans.
