Succinct and compelling thanks for offering this interview from McKibben. I was hoping for something that would address this denial thing on a more personal level (as opposed to the political). A few years ago, I was in a personal conversation with a climate change doubter - an average Joe sorta guy. It wasn't too hard to pin him down regarding the "chemistry and physics", to use McKibben's rhetoric. At that point the guy said (in close paraphrase), "look, I like driving my SUV, my kids like the SUV, and I've decided not to worry about the outcome...". I simply didn't know what to say... Maybe there is nothing to say at that point...
